Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive high-impact, strategic initiatives and oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex software projects. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, results-focused, and adaptable, with 8+ years of proven project management experience in fast-paced, technology-driven environments. In this role, you will provide leadership across multiple projects, collaborate closely with senior engineers, designers, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery from planning and execution through successful completion.
Job Specification:
Educational Level: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience Required: 8 years and above
Your Challenges:
• Oversee and lead multiple large-scale software development and IT projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, monitoring, delivery, and closure
• Clearly define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, timeframes, budgets, and success criteria in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders
• Lead, organise, mentor, and encourage cross-functional project teams of developers, QA engineers, DevOps/infrastructure specialists, business analysts, and third-party vendors/clients
• As the principal point of contact, ensure good communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including team members, leaders, senior management, and clients
• Create and track project plans, schedules, resource allocations, risk registers, and status reports with tools like Jira or MS Project
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact
• Establish and enforce effective processes for scope management, quality standards, change control, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide upfront leadership to the Project Management and Business Analysis teams to guarantee adherence to governance frameworks, SDLC standards, and the chosen delivery methodology
• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and resource utilization to ensure delivery within approved financial constraints
• Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing), oversee release planning, and coordinate deployments to production environments
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, status reports, dashboards, and post-mortem analyses, effectively communicating project performance, KPIs, risks, and issues
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and applicable regulatory requirements
• Design continuous improvement plan by evaluating project outcomes, identifying lessons learned, and refining processes, tools, and templates for future initiatives
Our Wish List:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• 8+ years of proven experience in Managing IT projects, with at least 3+ years in a senior or lead role
• Strong experience managing software development, cloud, and enterprise IT projects
• Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership abilities
• Experience working with fintech or financial software products is highly desirable
• Familiarity with large-scale software development environments and modern technologies
• Willingness to travel internationally to meet clients as required
Highly Desirable:
• Direct experience within the fintech sector or with financial software products
• Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe
Additional Assets:
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Background in banking, payments, or other highly regulated industries
• Familiarity with modern engineering practices, including DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architectures
