Position Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives and ensure the successful development and delivery of software projects. The ideal candidate must be meticulous, results-driven, and adaptable, with at least 3 years of project management experience in fast-paced, technology-driven environments. You will work closely with engineers, designers, clients, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently from inception to completion.
Job Specification:
Educational Level: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience Required: 3 years and above
Your Challenges:
- Lead and manage multiple IT and software development projects from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and implementation plans in alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, infrastructure, and business analysts, to ensure project success.
- Establish and maintain effective processes for managing scope, quality standards, and risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build, develop, and motivate project teams to achieve maximum performance and alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor project progress and performance using tools such as Jira, Trello, or MS Project.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and oversee deployments to production environments.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain clear project documentation, including plans, requirements, change logs, and reports.
- Prepare and present project updates, performance metrics, and risk reports to management and clients.
- Support and enforce project governance, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth rollout and user adoption.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the continuous enhancement of project delivery methodologies.
Our Wish List:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience managing software development or IT projects.
- Certified project manager (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner) preferred.
- Hands-on experience with methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or Lean.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Experience working with fintech or financial software products is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with large-scale software development environments and modern technologies.
- Willingness to travel internationally to meet clients as required.
