Position Overview:

As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. As a key contributor, you will analyse financial processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the related field
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the IT industry, with a focus on FinTech
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Familiarity with UML or other modeling techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify business needs and propose solutions
• Experience in writing clear and concise requirement documents, use cases, and user stories.
• Ability to create technical documentation and user manuals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of financial systems and products
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and statistical software (e.g., R or Python)
• Familiar with software development methodology and knowledge of business solution processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Job Description:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for IT projects
• Translate and simplify business requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders
• Create detailed requirement documents, including business requirements, functional requirements, and technical specifications.
• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, identifying areas for improvement and innovation
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
• Assess change-proposals and define solutions to help the organization achieve its goals
• Discover, organize, and clarify business needs and review/produce specifications for change
• Work with the Technical Analyst and development team to ensure that they understand the specifications.
• Assist in project planning activities, including defining scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Help prioritize tasks and features based on business value and project constraints.
• Monitor project progress and ensure that deliverables are on track.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding
• Facilitate meetings, including requirement gathering sessions, design reviews, and project status updates.
• Mediate conflicts and negotiate solutions among stakeholders to ensure project success
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
• Analyze business data to derive insights and support decision-making.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Create user manuals, training materials, and conduct training sessions for end-users.
• Gather feedback and analyze the performance of implemented solutions to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct business process modelling and generate applicable scenarios for the technology functionality testing team
